Tales of the Jedi: Dooku's Past
Suddenly, a trailer for a new anime series has been released!
It is set several decades before Phantom Menace and after EP2.
Although it is a short series, the quality is high, and the content is close to Prequel fans. Filoni, of course, is the director. Disney Plus will deliver the ultimate experience.
Dooku's younger days as a Jedi Master are revealed.
I'm disappointed in the Jedi Order, who overlooks a corrupt republic and a rotting democracy. He had confided his troubles to Siphodias.
At this point the dark side began to eat at him, but the Sith have not contacted him. He hasn't been selected yet.
Dooku was a man who had a particularly high pride among the Order, and was only the best. His thirst for power leads to his fall to the dark side.
A perfectionist, his strict attitude towards the Force plagued his apprentice, Qui-Gon.
It shows up in lightsaber tactics.
He has mastered the form "Makashi". It is a rare form that assumes an anti-lightsaber in an era where the emphasis is on anti-blasters. It is a very advanced and graceful form, an art free from barbaric wielding.
Having mastered this, Dooku is recognized by Yoda as a top-notch duelist.
Makashi was filmed in EP2 20 years ago. That sword handling is amazing even now. However, CG reproduction in the later movie version of Clone Wars was extremely difficult.
The technology at the time was limited in incorporating that delicate and graceful form into animation.
But now animation technology has improved dramatically.
Smoothness and delicacy of animation are possible, and complex movements can be visualized easily. So Tales of the Jedi is an attempt to try a full-fledged visualization of Makashi.
This is also the earnest wish of Lucas, who visualized Makashi in EP2.
Young Yoda, Mace, and Padawan Qui-Gon also make an appearance.
I would be happy if Jocasta Nou made an appearance.
"He wasn't the type to take the council's decisions with a grain of salt."
I want to know Dooku's first name. .
