Acolyte Episode 5 Impressions(Caution for spoilers)
⚪︎The Sith Lord Appears
The Sith had been hiding and hiding for 1000 years, but now they appear before the Jedi. They have broken the rules of secrecy. This is clearly a risky move.
Since this has happened, they have no choice but to eliminate all the Jedi.
He was hiding his identity as Kymir and had a dislike for the Jedi, but he ended up revealing his true identity to his apprentice, May. He was deceiving May twice, testing her loyalty to her master. And he won't let her lie. Even if she does lie, he can see through it.
Even if he defeats the Jedi in battle, I think he lost strategically. It's clearly a blunder. You can't let the Jedi die!
I would like to commend Jeki Ron, the power dungeon who sacrificed himself to destroy the mask.
While the masters are fighting the Sith, he is able to act with a bird's-eye view of the battlefield, such as arresting May.
⚪︎We have no choice but to report it to the Council
With so many Jedi casualties, I feel it would be impossible to deal with this privately without informing the Council. Yoda must be aware of the sacrifices, including that of young Padawans.
However, this contradicts the fact that the Sith appeared in Episode 1 and their existence became public.
Perhaps Master Sol wants to report this to the Council but cannot? Can't he return to Coruscant?
The best way for the Sith to cover up this situation would be to destroy the ship Sol is taking to return. There are no local residents. There are no other witnesses.
⚪︎Lightsaber performance
The Jedi and the Sith engage in a fierce and violent battle.
Lightsabers from this era often break down. They are designed to be used against blasters and not against sabers, so the power cells are likely to be weak.
On the other hand, the Sith seem to have been designed to be used against sabers, and are very high performance.
⚪︎Sith Form
Kymir's swing is clearly similar to the style Darth Sidious learned. It is a violent fighting technique that outwits the Jedi.
However, it seems that he is not familiar with the Jedi's martial arts.
I think Kymir probably trained against combat droids, like Maul did later. Machines are more ruthless than flesh and blood.
⚪︎Sol's Reflection
Sol, the only survivor, was close to turning to the dark side. The Jedi forbid revenge and anger.
He dumped his comrades' bodies on the spot. This is because attachment is forbidden.
I am grateful to Osha for stopping me. Osha is no longer a Jedi, but I am glad she was a Padawan.
