After the release of EP3, a question was posted on the Internet: What was Palpatine's line to Anakin after killing Dooku? It was about the line Palpatine gave to Anakin after killing Dooku: "This is not the first time.
This is not the first time. It's not the first time, remember when you killed Tusken.
How does Palpatine know that Anakin killed the Tusken Raider on Tatooine?
Palpatine may be involved in the death of his mother, Simi.
Could Palpatine's involvement in the death of Simi, his mother, could be a motive to incite Anakin's anger and plunge him into darkness?
Palpatine may have been faking Anakin's ignorance of Simi's death and Padmé's fear of dying.
The answers to this series can be found in the visual book, "Characters & Creatures", which was already published at the time. Without telling the council or Obi Wan, he consulted directly with his uncle-like Palpatine. I figured that Palpatine would not tell anyone, so I shared my concerns with him.
Even before this, I had told Palpatine about my worries, my doubts about the Jedi temple, which I could not even tell Obi-Wan. Unlike other Jedi, Anakin was drawn to the realistic and soft-spoken attitude of the Jedi. Anakin, who has high self-esteem, comes to respect Palpatine.
In other words, Palpatine was secretly holding Anakin's weaknesses in his hands.
However, as Palpatine had confided to Dooku, he was aware of its existence even before he first came to know Anakin. Unbeknownst to Dooku, Sidious knew that the legacy of the Master's playgus existed on Tatooine. Since no Jedi could possibly be an incarnation of the Force where the Midichlorians were higher than Yoda, it was easy for him to hide it in order to eventually make it his own apprentice. I didn't know his name, though.
There is an anecdote about the process. Saving a bantha about to be killed by a hunter, escaping after trapping a rat, being fitted with a slave transmitter by Watto, and more. And most importantly, he cared for his mother, even though his surroundings were scarce.
He also once took care of an injured Tusken, despite Simi's warnings that he was in danger. This rumor was passed on among the Tuskens.
However, Sidious would later think that Anakin could not have imagined that the Tusken Raider would kill his mother.
Sidious believed that no matter how things unfolded, Anakin's outstanding talent would make him famous. If he would grow up to be a human being outside of the Jedi Temple, he would not have to worry about not being able to display his talents and being brainwashed by the Jedi.
Later Anakin was discovered by Qui-Gon and freed from slavery. For Sidious, the groundwork was laid for his descent into the dark side, though it was unexpected. This is the element of anger that the Jedi trump.
Then, after the blockade plan of Naboo fails halfway through, Palpatine, elected Supreme Chancellor, becomes acquainted with Anakin for the first time on Naboo. Sidious takes an even deeper interest in Anakin, who tried to frustrate his perfect plan. And he realizes that this boy is the Force incarnate, which he has felt since his days as a disciple of Playgus.
Sidious tickles Anakin's self-esteem and becomes a good mentor in life in general.
Then, just as Sidious had suspected, Simi is killed by Tusken. Sensing this, Anakin's anxiety is heightened. Although not directly involved. Although not allowed as a Jedi, Anakin retaliates against Tusken.
Palpatine thinks that he is the only one who will be consulted about it (in Qui-Gon's absence). He is right, and justifies his retaliation by promising never to tell the council or his master, Obi Wan, or Padme, that he was right to retaliate. Relieved by this, Anakin vows not to do the same to Padme.
Sensing this, Sidious also exploits Anakin's fear by encouraging him to do the same.
Who will you save, Padme or Obi-Wan? Anakin!
