General Grievous was a strategic throwaway pawn.
It's been a while since I've posted about the Clone Wars project.
General Grievous is a "living" professional military officer who commands the Separatist droid army. He was originally a warrior from the planet Kaleesh, but after being seriously injured in a mysterious shuttle accident, he is resurrected as a cyborg after making a deal with the banking group Sunhill.
Sunhil takes the revived Grievous to meet Count Dooku and appoints him general of the droid army that he has been preparing behind the scenes. He provided financial assistance to the Kaleesh in exchange.
"It's painful to be refused death as a soldier."
But there is no benefit to financially supporting the Kaleesh. It is a planet lacking in resources. Lord Sidious simply wanted to find someone who would faithfully execute the Clone Wars plan.
In the first place, the shuttle accident was a plot orchestrated by Lord Tyranus.
Surprisingly, Grievous was only lightly injured in the accident, but after the accident, he does something terrible and deliberately injures him seriously. That's how much I wanted to get Grievous.
Now, Grievous gains an amazing body using Geonosian biotechnology. He has the physical strength and reflexes of a Jedi, making him invincible on the battlefield. (Suitable for wielding a lightsaber) However, what must not be forgotten is that he was also modified mentally. Geonosian technology was used to modify Grievous's consciousness and thinking without Grievous' knowledge. Lord Sidious was watching this closely.
With so much investment and technology invested into him, Grievous becomes an essential part of the Clone Wars plan. Lord Sidious and Lord Tyranus admired his ability to carry out any complex or difficult military operation with precision, accuracy, speed, and perfection. As Count Dooku, he was busy instigating and leading the Separatist forces, so it was great to have a competent military man to lead his droid army.
Sometimes strong and weak, sometimes fast and slow, sometimes more and less,
They were extremely useful and capable in carrying out intended military options and carrying out intended operations with precision. This is an essential element in carrying out the ingenious Clone Wars plan devised by Lord Sidious. If you make any mistakes, your plans will be disrupted.
However, unforeseen and unexpected situations do occur.
However, we must not forget that if Grievous is captured by Republic forces or the mission goes awry, Lord Sidious will respond flexibly and let him escape. The exact information supporting Grievous was provided by Lord Sidious.
In fact, Sidious himself had no intention of keeping Grievous alive forever (he wanted to end the war before it got out of control). He uses the Jedi to make arrangements. He intentionally leaks Grievous's location to Anakin, which is too accurate, and the Council pounces. As expected, Obi-Wan heads straight to Utapau. The Council was having a hard time finding Grievous during the war, so this was a perfect fit.
While Lord Sidious and Anakin carry out important tasks on Coruscant, Obi-Wan defeats Grievous as expected. Lord Sidious made him win.
Then the Jedi will come to report that the war has finally ended (actually a coup).
``We've defeated Dooku and Grievous! The war is finally over!'' He reassures the Jedi, lets his guard down, and executes Order 66.
Grievous' death was a strategic defeat.
"Greetings, Master Windu. You let Grievous die. You finally ended the war."
*Geonosian biotechnology will later be used to regenerate Lord Vader.
*Conversation between Grievous and Sidious after the Coruscant raid
"General, Obi-Wan Kenobi is going to Utapau."
After figuring out how the council would react, they drew up a scenario.
