Anakin wanted to fight Grievous.
20 years since Revenge of the Sith was released!
Ahsoka on Mandalore, Obi-Wan and Anakin on Coruscant.
It was a scene that would change the history of the galaxy.
At the end of the Clone Wars, they infiltrated the Invisible Hand and succeeded in rescuing the Chancellor. Ahsoka captured Maul and transported him to Coruscant. Mace and Shark Tee had cornered Sidious, and they were close to uncovering the Sith's plot.
All the Jedi were relieved and let their guard down. "It's finally over... We can win."
All that remains are Grievous and the Separatist executives (gather them all in one place).
The Council sends Yoda to Kashyyyk.
(Yoda lamented the death of Dooku, "Skywalker, stop!")
Palpatine expects Anakin, who saved his life, to arrest Grievous.
Anakin wanted to accomplish the feat of ending the war, but the Council chose Obi-Wan. "Why was the Chancellor able to suddenly locate Grievous?"
"We will expose Sidious, who feared the end of the war."
After sending Obi-Wan to Utapau, Palpatine revealed his true identity to Anakin before Ahsoka arrived on Coruscant. At the same time, he intentionally killed Grievous and waited for Mace and the others to arrest him.
The Sith silenced the witness and brilliantly outwitted the Jedi.
The Jedi were doing their best to end the war, but Sidious himself had no intention of continuing it any further. This tricked them, and they obtained the strongest piece, Anakin, and destroyed the Jedi. (The tired Jedi were spread thinly and widely, and were always protected by clone soldiers.)
They had no intention of sending Anakin to Utapau. He sympathized with Anakin, who wanted to defeat Grievous, and complained about the Council's decision. "I'm angry that the Council doesn't value your talent."
The Council immediately responded that defeating Grievous would end the war, and made a mistake in their judgment.
With Obi-Wan gone, Ahsoka wouldn't be there either, and it would be easier to lure Anakin.
(Immediately after the surprise attack on Coruscant)
"General, it's Obi-Wan Kenobi who's going."
"Isn't it Skywalker?... Just as Lord Sidious predicted!"
Up until now, Grievous had been saved by the Sith's advance information.
However, there were many unfavorable conditions on Utapau. Grievous was going to lose.
It was all a Sith farce. Anakin was dissatisfied that he couldn't keep up with Grievous' speed. He was annoyed that he had let him escape. "That's why the Republic can't win."
Later, the Emperor skillfully explains this in the Senate. "The Jedi deliberately let Grievous escape, prolonging the war. This war was a farce for the Jedi!"
Anakin understands the truth, but chooses the distorted truth that the Jedi had betrayed him.
